MISSION STATEMENT
Our purpose is to organize
weekly coed beach volleyball games for our members and friends of all skill
levels. Most of us are at beginner or intermediate level and we play for recreation and exercise, as well as social interaction.
There is no charge for this event.
GAME LOCATION AND TIME Generally, we play every Sunday from 12 noon to 3 afternoon at the Playa del Rey beach courts - where Culver Boulevard meets the beach. We try to get volleyball court number 15 or close to it. You could park by Pacific Avenue and Culver Boulevard where La Marina Restaurant (119 Culver Blvd. Playa Del Rey, CA 90293) is located and walk to the beach by the volleyball courts.
RECOMMENDATIONS Bring your towel, sunglasses, hat, cooler, beach chair, snacks, drinks- anything to make the day and the game more comfortable and enjoyable. Please do not bring jewelry or valuables.
AFTER THE GAME We may go to a nearby restaurant for dinner, a cold drink and a warm friendly conversation where more people may join us and enjoy the nice beach weather and everything else.
